Tagatose has arrived in the UK!!!!
The much hyped natural sugar Tagatose is finally available. The promise of this sugar has been around since the early 80's but only now at TheHealthyFoodShop is it available to buy.
Tagatose is a wonder sugar as no only is it a sugar with a sweet taste, it has many health benefits:
- It is kind to teeth. Tagatose carries the Tooth Friendly mark and actually has anti-cavity properties. Yes, not only does it not rot teeth like traditional sugar, it actually protects your teeth.
- It's glycaemic index is very low (only 2). In other words it does not affect your blood sugar levels. This is vital if you have type I or II diabetes. Similarly, if you are concerned about your sugar intake, this is what you need.
